Ms. Brashears has a degree in accounting and has worked in education for approximately 9 years. She moved to Idaho with her daughter, who attends PiSTEM, in January 2018. In her spare time, she enjoys discovering Idaho and playing with her pup, Lucy.
Christine lives and raises her two boys in the great City of Kuna. She's lived all over the country and is proud to now call Idaho home, as it has so many beautiful and fun places to explore with her kids. Their weekend activities and hobbies include hiking, baking, Lego-building and refurbishing home furniture. Christine originally got her Bachelor's degree in Journalism and Mass Communications at San Jose State University in California but would also like to pursue her passion of education by getting certified to teach in Idaho. Until then, she's excited to come on board as the Outreach (recruitment) Coordinator to educate and encourage families to join the PiSTEM family and attend this amazing school.
Courtney Peterson Outreach Coordinator email@example.com
Raised by two educators, Courtney has always had an interest in public schools, and the impact they have on communities-especially small ones. Professionally Courtney has spent the last 10 years working in various aspects of adult education, and loves interacting and working with people. She was very excited to work with a passionate group of individuals to found Project Impact STEM Academy. Volunteering with a non-traditional charter school has brought many opportunities and challenges, and has been extremely rewarding. I look forward to the opportunity to work closely with our families and school community to help build and strengthen our school culture, and help support the mission of lifelong learning! In my free time I love to read, spend time with my family, and practice yoga!
